DJ ARCH has been a lover of music for a long time. Growing up in Brooklyn New York, he has witnessed and been a part of the evolution of hip hop. Some of his many musical influences include DJ Cool Herc, Grandmaster Flash, Afrikka Bambatta, DJ Marley Marl, DJ Red Alert, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Spinna, Tony Humphries, Louie Vega and Darryl James to name a few. From the time DJ ARCH bought his first set of 1200s he started mixing hip hop, disco, r&b and house. Disco has also played a major role in his musical endeavourers and as a result, came his progression into the dance/electronic age. As a true turntablist, DJ ARCH has played parties all over NY including Syracuse, Oswego, Cornell and of course NYC. Today, DJ ARCH’’s passion for the soulful house underground has been evident in his very popular podcasts and streaming radio mixshows. He is a current member of the Nervedjs and Fleetdjs dj associations where he is the program director and manager for Fleet EDM Radio. He has also been djing deep soulful house live on the UK based internet station pressureradio.com for 6 years.
